A relative newcomer in the Grethe Meyer brand portfolio, this lamp was in fact only found in Grethe Meyer’s own kitchen during her lifetime. The original sketches date from 1984 and the prototypes were beautifully positioned above the designer’s stove.

Working with Grethe Meyer’s daughter Dorthe Salicath, the Danish design company Menu A/S managed to take this pendant into production. The simple beauty of the design makes the lamp a perfect fit for a multitude of spaces. The rounded shades are available in two different sizes and come in five variations: white and black steel, opal glass, copper and brass.

The GM pendants have been manufactured and marketed by Menu A/S since 2013.
